Friendship is Two-way Street!

 Steven Shamrak
Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon, said in private that "The American security plan presented to us is not worth the paper it's written on. It contains no peace and no security. Only our continued presence in Judea and Samaria and the River Jordan will endure that Ben-Gurion Airport and Netanya don't become targets for rockets from every direction." "The moment we leave Judea and Samaria he (PA President Mahmoud Abbas) is finished. In reality, there have been no negotiations between us and the Palestinians for all these months - but rather between us and the Americans. The only thing that can 'save us' is for John Kerry to win a Nobel Prize and leave us in peace." (Ya'alon should not apologize for speaking the truth! Have you ever heard of a US apology to Israel for unfair political pressure, betrayal or blunt disrespect? Ironically and quite predictably apology, not the substance and merit of his statement, has become the major international news.  There is no reason to worry that Ya'alon caused harm to US-Israel ties - the relationship can't get worse.)

Former defense secretary Robert Gates had such contempt for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that he even tried to have him banned from the White House. "I was offended by his glibness and his criticism of US policy - not to mention his arrogance and outlandish ambition - and I told national security adviser Brent Scowcroft that Bibi (Netanyahu) ought not be allowed back on White House grounds," Gates reportedly claims in his autobiography. (Netanyahu should demand an apology from Gates and the Obama administration. Friendship is two-way street!)
Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon was forced to apologize for his private remarks about Secretary of State John Kerry. During the same week, Iran 's deputy foreign minister Abbas Araghchi said the US President was not telling the truth in stating that Iran would dismantle a key part of its nuclear program. The White House response (brush-off) - Never mind what the Iranians say; it's what they do that matters - a freedom evidently denied Israel. (Araghchi most likely was telling the truth that Obama administration is lying about the negotiation and treaty with Iran. But, Ya'alon most definitely has exposed the reality of US conduct as an 'honest' peace broker and Kerry's 'inspirations'!)
US Vice President Joe Biden when he met Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu Monday night, Jan. 13, refused to disclose details of agreements which the Americans claimed were reached by the six powers and Iran in their talks earlier this week on the implementation of their first-stage Geneva accord. In the light of the conflicting versions coming out the White House and Tehran Israel is left wondering if US-led international nuclear diplomacy has achieved anything or just allowed Iran come closer to development of a nuclear bomb. (Real friends are supposed to share vital information. But, the US imprisoned Pollard for doing this and is still playing 'high diplomacy' with the life of Jews in Israel!)
The Nov. 24 deal between Iran and the six powers - the US, Britain, France , Russia, China and Germany - aims to freeze (not to stop or destroy like Syrian chemical weapon program) Iran's nuclear progress for six months. When officials from Iran and the world powers announced that they had completed the implementing agreement, they didn't release the text of the deal, nor did they acknowledge the existence of an informal addendum. A US officials said that Iran would be allowed to continue existing research and development projects and with pencil-and-paper design work, but not to advance research with new projects.
Food for Thought by Steven Shamrak
The UN's resources are stretched thin as it is struggling to feed and keep safe millions of refugees and displaced people in conflict zones such as Iraq, Syria, Southern Sudan, C.A.R or Mali (all Islam-inflamed conflicts). For over 66 years the 'Ugly Nothing' have been deliberately wasting billions of dollars each year on perpetuating the existence of fake Palestinian refugees, 3rd and 4th generation already - 'professional refugees', in order to undermine the legitimacy of the Jewish state's existence.
'Useless Nothing' has done it Again - Syria Talks in Disarray
UN secretary-general Ban Ki-moon said on Sunday that he had invited Iran, President Bashar al-Assad's main backer, to attend the first day of talks. This prompted Syria's main political opposition group in exile, the Istanbul-based National Coalition, to threaten to boycott the talks, dubbed Geneva II, less than 48 hours after they've signaled approval to participate.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that a "Jew-free" Palestinian state, now being contemplated in peace talks, would be tantamount to ethnic cleansing. There are Arabs who live here (Israel ), but they can't contemplate Jews living there (PA controlled areas). He said that rather than the issue of settlements, the crux of the disagreement is the PA's refusal to recognize a Jewish state. "It's not about settlements, it's not about territory, and it's not even about a Palestinian state, which we agreed right from the start to recognize. It's about a Jewish state. It's about survival of the state of Israel..." (The transfer of Jews from proposed PA's state has already been accepted by the international anti-Semites - several years ago 8,500 Jews were deported from Gaza . Therefore, an "Arab-free" Jewish state should also be an acceptable viable option as Jews have all rights to create Eretz-Israel on all Jewish land rather than fake Palestinians or Arabs!)
A Canadian judge ruled that grabbing a Jewish girl, flicking a lighter next to her hair and saying "let's burn the Jew" is apparently not a racially motivated act in Winnipeg . A high school student grabbed a Jewish female classmate, held a lighter to her hair and said out loud, "let's burn the Jew," but a Canadian judge concluded that the incident was "not racially motivated." The lawyer for the defendant claimed, essentially, it was the girl's fault her hair caught on fire. (Would this judge have come to the same conclusion if the same was done by a Jew to a Christian or Muslim? What would be the reaction of the world?)
Two decades after deadly terror attacks in Argentina 's capital, former Israeli ambassador Itzhak Aviran said: "The large majority of those responsible are no longer of this world, and we did it ourselves." Two decades after the blasts, those who instigated them have not been brought to justice. Neither Carlos Menem, who was Argentina 's president from 1989 to 1999, nor his successor Fernando de la Rua and those who followed "did anything to get to the bottom of this tragedy," Aviran said. (This is another proof that Israel is alone in the fight against global Islamic terror - Others just pretend, and they are not concerned when Jews are killed!)
Turkey Grows Closer to Iran
Turkey and Iran seem to be boosting relations as the two countries continue to exchange high-level visits. Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is planning to visit Iran at the end of this month. In addition, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani is planning a visit to Turkey in February. The countries are planning to increase trade, aiming for $30 billion in the next few years, with a further possibility for $50b. ( Turkey is a corrupt Islamic state, which is helping enemies. It snubbed and betrayed allies at the beginning of the last war against Iraq . It must be expelled from NATO and have no chance for EU membership!)
Made in Israel : Instant Electricity from Aluminum and Water.
The Israel Technion demonstrates its eco-friendly fuel cell that works immediately when water is added into a container of activated Aluminum powder.  See it powering model boats and cars.  It is 10-15 times more powerful than the equivalent Lithium-ion battery.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency should be disbanded, MP and former Canadian justice minister Irwin Cotler demanded. He also said that Arab League should incorporate the question of Jewish refugees in its framework for peace. "There is no reason why there should be one separate body dealing with Palestinian refugees where all other refugees in the world are under the jurisdiction of the United Nations commissioner for refugees." Cotler insisted. (Good point - it is long over due! Did he make this demand when he held the position of Canadian justice minister?)
The annual French wine competition awarded gold stars to all 8 of the entries from Psagot Boutique Winery in the Binyamin hills. The Pesagot winery was established in 2003 on the site of vineyards owned by Jews since the Second Temple period.
Islamic Thugs Obama Supported
Mass executions of civilians and of fighters who were no longer participating in hostilities were reported in the northern cities of Aleppo, Idlib and Raqqa. They were carried out by armed opposition groups in Syria, in particular by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, said Ms. Pillay, the United Nations human rights chief.
Turkish police arrested at least 23 people as part of raids against al-Qaida targets, including the offices of the Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH). IHH was behind the Mavi Marmara flotilla that sought to break Israel 's blockade of the Gaza Strip in May 2010. IHH is largely viewed as a state-sponsored NGO.
Israel Intercepted Rockets Fired from Gaza
Israel's Iron Dome missile defence system has intercepted five rockets fired at the city of Ashkelon from the Gaza Strip and the military responded with a series of air strikes on the Hamas-controlled territory. (Only reclaiming Gaza as Jewish land and clearing it from enemy population will stop terror attacks permanently)
Quotes of the Week:
"I think that the US has put Israel in a very tough situation, having to do with Iran. The United Stated has sworn to protect Israel - and what we're doing is certainly not protecting Israel and her people from massive destruction."  "I think it's going to ultimately up to Israel to make a determination for what they need to do to protect themselves." "I don't think the Palestinians really want peace. I don't think they've really ever wanted peace; I think they want Israel." - Michael Reagan, son of former US President Ronald Reagan.

Pollard was imprisoned in 1987.
He has served longer than any other spy captured in the US .
In recent years, several American officials - including former CIA officials - have recommended releasing Pollard. Earlier this year, for example, Lawrence Korb, United States Assistant Secretary of Defense during the Jonathan Pollard affair, appealed to US officials to let Pollard go. Commenting on the issue before a trip to Israel earlier this year, Korb said that Pollard had paid a price for breaking the law, but there is an element of disproportion in the punishment that "goes against the principles I believe in as an American citizen."
Besides Korb, Former Head of the CIA James Woolsey has called for Pollard to be released. Speaking at a conference in November, Woolsey said that only spies whose actions resulted in deaths were given the kind of sentence Pollard got.
For "regular" spies, he said, the sentence "is usually is only 6-7 years. And if the fact that that Pollard is Jewish is what bothers the President, then let him pretend that Pollard is a South Korean, a Filipino-American or an ally from somewhere else. But he has been in prison a long time now, and only people like (Aldrich) Ames or (Robert) Hanssen, who got people killed, get a sentence like that... and Pollard didn't do that."
