Too bad the Pope did not see this!‏

Is it not obvious that stones and firecrackers 'grow' on the Temple Mount?  They are available to the Muslim worshippers who use them and then hide in their mosque.

While Jews are not permitted to even utter a prayer at that place that is holy to us the worshippers also use the Temple Mount compound for playing ball and picnics.  This must change!

TEMPLE MOUNT CLOSED AFTER ARAB RIOTING ON JERUSALEM DAY —The Temple Mount was closed following clashes between Muslim worshippers and Israeli police amid Jerusalem Day celebrations. Four Palestinians and an Israeli police officer were reported injured in the Wednesday morning clashes. Masked Palestinians threw rocks and firecrackers at Jewish security forces on the Temple Mount. The attackers barricaded themselves in the Al Aksa Mosque after being pursued by Israeli police. The Temple Mount was closed to visitors following the clashes. The annual Jerusalem Day flag procession through the Old City of Jerusalem will take place Wednesday afternoon. Jerusalem Day marks the reunification of Jerusalem during the Six Day War in 1967.
