PM Who Filled UK with Muslims: “There Is a Problem Within Islam”

You don’t say, do you? A problem? My word.

Tony Blair, the  former Prime Minister writes, “There is a problem within Islam – from the adherents of an ideology which is a strain within Islam.”
“We have to put it on the table and be honest about it. Of course there are Christian extremists and Jewish, Buddhist and Hindu ones. But I am afraid this strain is not the province of a few extremists. It has at its heart a view about religion and about the interaction between religion and politics that is not compatible with pluralistic, liberal, open-minded societies.”
“At the extreme end of the spectrum are terrorists, but the world view goes deeper and wider than it is comfortable for us to admit. So by and large we don’t admit it.”
Right then. Now who made this a problem for the pluralistic, liberal, open-minded UK?

The huge increases in migrants over the last decade were partly due to a politically motivated attempt by ministers to radically change the country and “rub the Right’s nose in diversity”, according to Andrew Neather, a former adviser to Tony Blair, Jack Straw and David Blunkett.

He said Labour’s relaxation of controls was a deliberate plan to “open up the UK to mass migration”.

The “deliberate policy”, from late 2000 until “at least February last year”, when the new points based system was introduced, was to open up the UK to mass migration, he said.

Some 2.3 million migrants have been added to the population since then, according to Whitehall estimates quietly slipped out last month.

What does Tony Blair’s willingness to say that Islam is at fault really mean? Do you even have to ask? There were frequent reports that Blair has been trying to get back into politics for a while. He’s already said that he would like to be PM again and rumors have been repeatedly floated about a comeback. Labour has been unenthusiastic about it. Too many of their supporters are still obsessed with the Iraq War.

But writing a piece in the Daily Mail on how Islam may be a problem is Blair’s way of trying to show that he might be able to appeal to voters that the current Labour can’t appeal to.

And if you like it the other way, don’t worry, Tony also reads the Koran daily. He is a true Renaissance man. Just pick your renaissance.
