On the anniversary of their terror attacks, Fatah honored suicide
bombers Andalib Takatka and Fadi Al-Amoudi as Martyrs and heroes.
Andalib Takatka killed 6 and wounded more than 80 when she blew herself up at the Mahane Yehuda market in Jerusalem in 2002.
Fadi Al-Amoudi killed 1 and
wounded 3 when he detonated a bomb he was carrying at the Erez crossing
at the Israeli-Egyptian border in 2004.
Fatah's Facebook administrator called terrorist Al-Amoudi "a hero" and
referred to both these murderous attacks as "Martyrdom-seeking
operations" in which "Zionists" were killed.
Recently, Facebook removed Palestinian Media Watch's post that exposed hate speech on PA TV
because Facebook's Statement of Rights and Responsibilities stipulates
that "you will not post content that is hate speech" or "incites
violence." However, Facebook is not applying this principle to Fatah's
Facebook postings that glorify terrorist murderers.
Palestinian Media Watch
has documented that Fatah has used its Facebook page to promote terror
and glorify suicide bombers. The following posts were all posted by
Fatah's Facebook page administrator:
Fatah in Lebanon encouraged violence and terrorism by posting a picture of a mother dressing her young son with a suicide belt. The picture was accompanied by an imaginary conversation between the son who is being sent to his death and the mother encouraging it. "Why me and not you?" the child innocently asks his mother, who answers that she will continue to have more children "for the sake of Palestine." This terror promotion and glorification still appears on Fatah Lebanon's Facebook page.
Fatah glorified two suicide terrorists who killed 7 Israelis,
referring to them as "the Bride of Palestine" and "our hero"
respectively. These two suicide bombers are still honored on Fatah's
Facebook page.
Fatah paid tribute to suicide bomber Wafa Idris
who killed 1 and injured over a hundred Israelis during her attack in
Jerusalem in January 2002. Part of the text about the terrorist read:
"The hero whose name the Zionists will remember well and
so will Palestinians; the hero who sacrificed herself and her body for
Palestine and became a symbol of the struggle and of Palestinian loyalty
through one of the most honorable Martyrdom-seeking operations."
Suicide bomber Idris is still glorified on Fatah's Facebook page.In addition, Fatah posted a picture of terrorist Dalal Mughrabi and a poem honoring her. Mughrabi was responsible for the most lethal terror attack in Israel's history when she led a group of terrorists who hijacked a bus and killed 12 children and 25 adults. Part of the poem read:
"This is Dalal, my eternal love... Dalal is my mysterious
young woman, my revolutionary Jihadi inspiration. I loved her but knew
only her name, Dalal Mughrabi."
Terrorist Mughrabi is still praised on Fatah's Facebook page.Fatah glorified violence and terror as acts of heroism, and depicted a world without Israel. It posted pictures of automatic rifles and slogans venerating arms. In some pictures, young children were carrying rifles. These posts still appear on this Fatah Facebook page.

Earlier this year, Bethlehem "paid tribute to its district's female Martyrs... Ayyat Al-Akhras... and Andalib Khalil Muhammad Suleiman" with a ceremony attended by both the mayor and the governor of Bethlehem, the official PA daily reported.
PMW exposes PA and Fatah's glorification of terrorists.
Upon learning that PMW only exposed the hate speech and did not promote it, Facebook returned PMW's post.
The following are the pictures and words glorifying the suicide bombers on Fatah's official Facebook page:
Administrator of Fatah's official Facebook page:
"Today, (April 12, 2013) is
the 11th anniversary of Andalib Takatka's Martyrdom death. She carried
out an operation in Jerusalem killing 6 Zionists and wounding 89."
[Fatah's Facebook page, April 12, 2013]Andalib Khalil Muhammad Suleiman or Andalib Takatka - suicide bomber who killed 6 and wounded more than 80 in her attack on Jerusalem's Mahane Yehuda outdoor market in April 2002.
Administrator of Fatah's official Facebook page:
"On April 17 [Fatah's
military wing] the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades were the first to respond
to the assassination of [Hamas founder and head] Sheikh Ahmed Yassin.
The response was earth shattering - the Martyrdom-seeking operation at
the Erez crossing (at the Israel-Egyptian border), in which many
Zionists were killed. This is the Martyrdom-seeking hero Fadi
Al-Amoudi."
[Fatah's Facebook page, April 17, 2013]Fadi Al-Amoudi - suicide bomber who killed an Israeli border policeman and wounded three others at the Erez crossing at the Israeli-Egyptian border in April 2004.
Official PA daily reports on Bethlehem's honoring of suicide bombers:
Headline: "The city of Bethlehem paid tribute to its district's female Martyrs."
"Yesterday the Bethlehem Municipality hosted a ceremony honoring the district's female Martyrs (Shahids).
The ceremony was organized by the National Association of Palestinian
Martyrs' Families on the occasion of Palestinian Martyrs' Day.Bethlehem mayor Vera Baboun said that the existence of Palestinian female Martyrs is very significant to everything having to do with a woman's role in all aspects of life. She made clear that there are more than 20 female Martyrs from the Bethlehem District.
Bethlehem District Governor Abdel Fattah Hamayil said: 'The Martyrs' victory began to be realized through the declaration of Palestinian statehood, in spite of all the efforts to eradicate the Palestinian identity.' ... At the end of the ceremony, tribute was paid to the families of the female Martyrs of the district ... (among them) Ayyat Al-Akhras... and Andalib Khalil Muhammad Suleiman."
[Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Jan. 16, 2013]
Note: Ayyat Al-Akhras - At the age of 17, she became the youngest female Palestinian suicide bomber. She killed 2 Israelis and injured 28 in a suicide bombing near a Jerusalem supermarket on March 29, 2002.
