The international community will hit Iran with new sanctions in the next month, Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon said during an event in Tel Aviv on Saturday.

"The regime in Iran today won't necessarily be in power in another year," he said, stressing that "the world is united against Iran."

He said that Washington, Beijing and Moscow agree that a nuclear Iran would "destroy the current world order." Regarding peace talks with the Palestinians, which Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has recently being trying to relaunch, Ayalon said, "The Palestinians need to understand that the time to act is limited."

"Today, more than ever, the US government understands that the conditions for negotiations are difficult, that the essential problem is that the Palestinians aren't willing to be flexible in their approach," he added.
